LowfieBot

The crawler of Lowfie, a price tracker for clothing, shoe and beauty shops.

What it does

LowfieBot reads the public category pages and product pages of online shops to show what things cost, what they cost before, and which sizes are in stock. Lowfie shows those prices and discounts to its users.

What it reads, and what it doesn't

• It reads what any visitor can see without an account: category pages, product pages, the public data those pages load in a browser, and robots.txt.
• It never logs in, never adds anything to a cart, never checks out and never fills in a form.
• It collects no personal data: only products, prices, sizes and stock.

How to recognise it
